A T-Shirt intervention project that looks at clothing as a medium for personal and political expression. The project invites the public to participate both in the wearing of t-shirts, in creating new slogans and in printing their own customs slogan designs. Developed originally for Freedom Festival, the work explores how we dress as an intervention in public space and the creation of a discursive arena. The T-shirt serves as a means to articulate personal concerns, many of which are mutually shared amongst the community.
The Print Shop is a project that can tour and be adapted to various sites and themes. See Rise Up Kelburn!
