Developed from a workshop series offered at Barking Library. Open to all community members to explore text through creative writing, spoken word and performance. Individuals without artistic training came weekly to explore the library collection, finding texts that interested them and finding their own writing voices through the styles of others. The workshop culminated in a site-specific performance intervention in the library, presenting texts chosen by each participant, including audience participation in choosing books and reading to each other.
