A community arts project culminating in the presentation of community street banners representing the local area, co-designed with over 200 participants from a diverse range of nationalities and cultures.

Participation and community co-design, as the project invited local people to be producers and makers and share in the authorship of works. Designs in the Sky aimed to inspire and enable people from Witton to take action, raise issues and express their thoughts about their neighbourhood. Designs in the Sky is part of the Birmingham-wide project Connecting Communities Through Culture funded by Birmingham City Council, Arts Council England and Department for Communities and Local Government.
